The Brightgreen project needs to outsource the development of their existing website because their long time developer will going to resign in few weeks. The Sr Developer give all of the credentials to us and we need to setup the project in our local machines.

They have multiple websites and dashboard that supports the all of their business process.

Quick Company Background

Brightgreen company that sells different lights that is cater for professionals. It is a legacy systems that needs to maintain by the Starfish which given task to supporting backend system . The backend System includes the Marketing, Product Reports Generation, Product Management, Analytics. It serves as well a dynamic content for each users who have different profession.

Challenge Encounter

The Sr Developer only transfer the knowledge in few weeks
During the transfer of the credentials and project setups , I really need to absorb a lot of informations from their Sr. Developer because there is only few weeks left. At that time I’m not really familiar yet on some of the technology that they use like AWS and CakePHP and some all versions of PHP that could only be run in lower versions.

The Project Don’t have the documentation on how to do specific things

Since they only have one Sr developer on their project . He is the one who only knows everything and it’s not fully documented. I do a lot of trial and error in order to move the project and turn over forward.
