Brideworthy is an online platform bringing wedding professional and soon-to-wed couples together. It is created to provide a reliable and trustworthy wedding resource in the Philippines. It was co-founded by two small but ambitious Filipino UI/UX designer and software engineer who works in Silicon Valley-based company while developing their own platform.
Quick Story
I was referred by my friend in Startups since both of the founders was looking for a developer to offload some of their tasks since they have some new features on their existing platform.
They have a quick onboarding on the development side since they are using Docker to manage all of the dependency of their large applications. I manage to deliver features in just a few weeks since I was well familiar with their technology stack except the python.
Majority of the works requires adding new features in the front-end while making sure that it doesn’t break the API on the backend. Since it was a startup product they develop the feature fast and during my work I need to fix some issue on their front-end. I manage to be able to navigate both the front-end(Vue-JS) and back-end side(PHP, Laravel, Codeigniter, and python) of the application with a little guidance from their technical co-founder.
The technology stack used:
Backend Laravel, PHP, Python, and Codeigniter
Front-end: VueJS and Vuetify, HTML and CSS
DevOps: Bitbucket, GIT, Docker, Jenkins
